The Philippines is a beautiful country with tons of exciting vaction spots, shops, and entertainment.  This site is designed for tourists and locals alike.  The goal of Cebu Business Review is to empower the consumers/employees with the ability to inform to general public on good and bad businesses on the island of Cebu. 

Cebu Business Review Overview

Cebu, like most of the Philippines, has many businesses that prey on customers, and their employees.  Many of them force employees to work overtime for free, pay their employees below the minimum wage laws, and do not pay employee taxes.  Because the legal system in the Philippines is slow at best (unless you are willing to bribe the right people), it is the goal of this site to provide a voice of the consumer and employee.  The idea of this site is similar to the Better Business Bureau in the USA.  This is not a site for gossip or slander.   We want to report equally, if not more, on the businesses that are treating customers and employees well.  Positive word-of-mouth marketing is a powerful incentive for failing businesses to improve their processes, customers service and employee treatment.
